A força da mulher em prosa e verso: de Alencar às rainhas do R.A.P., hip-hop e slam

Abstract

This work has as its guiding theme the feminine "empowerment". The object of study are texts of the genres romance and poetry, applied to the students of the 9th year of elementary school of the Municipal Network of Seropédica, municipality of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The work was started by the diagnosis about affinities and literary knowledge of the students. Starting from the programmatic orientations of the teaching network for the last three bimesters of the school year, we chose to work with the novel by José de Alencar Senhora, which highlights a strong female character even in the face of the recurrent patriarchy in this work. Later, with the intention of valuing the poem genre, after sharing videos and texts that addressed the theme feminism and the musical styles R.A.P and hip hop, the students did activities with lyrics of songs of these genres and participated in a workshop to create R.A.P. and hip hop, so that they could finally present their productions during a culmination event in the school unit in a poetry slam battle, always keeping the guiding theme as the focus of study throughout the second semester of the school year. As a theoretical basis for this study, can be highlighted by CANDIDO (2005), CALVINO (1993), LAJOLO, ZILBERMAN (1999) regarding the importance of literature as training and reading, including canonical texts; SENA (2013) about the life and work of José de Alencar, especially his female triology; RIBEIRO (2018) on studies on the theme feminism
