Caracterização de elementos da Inclusão Digital em escolas da zona rural de Posse Goiás

Abstract

Digital inclusion in recent decades has been discussed more vehemently, as its understanding as the need for an information society has leveraged itself in a very large way, this due to the technological advance that occurred in this period in search of information and connectivity. Thus, this study analyzed the characteristics referring to digital inclusion in three public schools, in the city of Posse-GO, more precisely in rural areas. Although we live in full technological advancement, computerized, with application and in several areas of knowledge, in which we have a society submerged in the era of digital technology, we find that not everyone has regular access to computers and the internet and, part of those who have the access, do not use them consciously. In other words, people who make use of these resources daily, however, do not understand what is happening in this “virtual world”. This is due to the lack of digital literacy. This digital illiteracy is even more accentuated in rural schools. In carrying out this research, we know the main reasons why digital inclusion is even more unequal in school communities in the rural area of the municipality of Posse. The study allowed us to measure the main characteristics regarding digital inclusion/exclusion and return the results obtained for reflection to the community.
