Imagem institucional: a percepção dos moradores do entorno do Câmpus Macapá sobre o Instituto Federal do Amapá

Abstract

This dissertation is the result of a case study that intended to characterize (Build / Rebuild) the institutional image of the Federal Institute of Amapá (IFAP) from the perception of the campus community of the territory of Macapa, located in a suburb of Amapá capital. Inserted into the Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Education Program PPGEA Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, had the following specific objectives to survey diagnosis of socioeconomic characteristics of the territory that makes up the community Macapa c ampus; identify the characteristics of the Federal Institute of Amapá in the perception of elderly people who live or work in the vicinity of Macapa campus and ultimately correlate the mission of the Federal Institute and the expectation of the community. Therefore, the investigation was to theoretical reference to discussion of the concepts of territory, identity, corporate image and reception in communication relating to the scope of the Federal Institute of Amapá. The research used quanti method with the technique of structured and semistructured interviews with 40 residents of Brazil New neighborhood, preceded by the socioeconomic questionnaire applied. Our results have indicated that public perspective on the institution and at the same time correlate t he characteristics indicated by the subjects with the identity of the Federal Institute of Amapá, which includes its institutional mission. It was concluded that the subjects consider positive the presence of IFAP in the neighborhood, as well as his role i n vocational education. .
