Fatores determinantes de Motivação/Desmotivação de alunos do Curso Técnico em Informática do Colégio Agrícola de Camboriú - UFSC.

Abstract

The Camboriu Agricultural School (CAC) is passing for changes in its physical structure, courses and in the teaching-learning process. Nowadays are seen problems in the relationship between teachers and students and several problems in the teaching-learning process that interferes in the process of motivation / demotivation of the students. Consequently, some students meet the academic requirements for the single purpose of achieving the diploma, without assimilation of content, without professional commitment to the area for which they were graduated. This phenomenon is easily observed in the daily life of CAC. In this issue, this study tried to identify the factors that determine the student´s motivation / demotivation in Technical Course in Computer the CAC, whose most obvious form of expression is the lack of expectations, responsibility, and apathy that has its consequence to implicate the objectives and goals of the CAC. The objective of this research is to identify the determing factors of student´s motivation / demotivation in Technical Course in Computer the CAC, and based on these factors, to reflect some strategies to guarantee greater motivation with the people involved in the teaching - learning process. This is a basic research of qualitative nature, with descriptive approach, whose methodological procedures characterize it as a case-study because the research purpose was to generate knowledge of a specific reality: the reality from CAC. For these collection were used the following instruments: interviews, questionnaires, participant observation and analysis of literature sources. The empirical reference was the process of teaching-learning from Technical Computing Course in the high school mode in the CAC.
