Criando novos espaços para o ensino no Colégio Agrícola Senador Carlos Gomes de Oliveira: usando o MOODLE com estudantes de informática

Abstract

This research was conducted with students from the Information Technology Technical Course at Agricultural School in Araquari, Santa Catarina, in cooperation with teachers of the course, and through the use of available digital tools. The aim was demonstrate the innovative possibilities of communication with MOODLE (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment), an online course management system. Using this system, a virtual environment was used with the students. The results show that some tools had more positive impacts on the socialization and communication among students, as well as among students and teachers, such as the case of chat. Other activities, like the construction of collective text, allowed the students a real experience of collaborative work in a big group, where ideas can differ. The process of elaborating this kind of text might promote the shared construction of knowledge.
