Satisfação dos custodiados no processo de inclusão educacional em presídio no interior de Minas Gerais

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the satisfaction of persons deprived of their liberty for participating in the National Exam for the Certification of Skills for Young People and Adults - ENCCEJA. The study adopts as a field of study the Prison Unit of Guanhães, located in the state of Minas Gerais. Positive Psychology brings a new conception, looking at a new angle, seeking to understand the positive functioning of the personality rather than the negative, the illness. It seeks to understand the person's psychic well-being. The present research turns to the life satisfaction that the person deprived of freedom brings to test their educational knowledge through the National Exam for Certification of Skills of Young and Adults (Encceja), this being an examination intended for people who could not complete their studies of school age, and may, if approved, receive primary or secondary education certification. This is an evaluation carried out by the National Institute of Education and Educational Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), in two modalities, the present instrument being focused on the study of the examination that is directed to the person deprived of freedom, called Encceja PPL. The research methodology will be qualitative and exploratory because it permeates characteristics to be matched to the needs of this study, because it will involve the understanding of a social group, the perceptions of the subject and the mechanisms by which they act and describe the facts, answering questions with particularities. Data analysis will be through content analysis techniques based on Bardin. The participants will be kept in custody at the Guanhães Prison, whose educational profiles will enable ENCCEJA to participate, will be from the closed and semi-open, aged 20 to 70 years, having previously expressed a desire to complete the studies, being adopted for the study the application of an open questionnaire about the satisfaction of the custodians for such experience. Although the prison is a place where we want to resocialize, even if we temporarily withdraw from social life and considering the environment, its privations are the real possibilities of life satisfaction experienced by these individuals, before the experience of testing their knowledge.
