| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O foco desta pesquisa é investigar a Bayer, multinacional de origem alemã que se constituiu em uma das maiores indústrias do mundo no ramo químico, e se estabeleceu em Belford Roxo, então distrito de Nova Iguaçu, em 1958. Analisamos a ascensão da empresa até se tornar de suma importância para região no papel de geradora de empregos. Também será analisada a categoria dos químicos, como eles se tornaram uma classe atuante e reivindicativa na década de 1980, culminando com a realização da greve de 1989. A paralisação foi histórica para empresa e sindicato, tornando-se um fato marcante na história da indústria química. A dissertação tem como objetivo ilustrar a trajetória dessa empresa, dando uma atenção especial para ocorrência do movimento grevista, que foi um momento de grande impacto nas relações entre trabalhadores e empresa, marcando o fim de um período de vigor e crescimento da Bayer Belford Roxo |
| Abstract: | The focus of this research is to investigate Bayer, a German based multinational which constituted one of the largest industries in the world in the chemical industry, and settled in Belford Roxo, then Nova Iguaçu district in 1958. We have analyzed the rise of the company to be become of paramount importance to the region in the role of a generator of jobs. It will also be analyzed the category of chemicals, as they have become an active and vindictive class in the 1980s, culminating in the holding of the 1989 strike. The strike was historic for company and the union, making it an important event in the industry's history chemistry. The dissertation aims to illustrate the trajectory of this company, paying special attention to the occurrence of the strike movement, which was a time of great impact on relations between workers and company, marking the end of a period of vigor and growth Bayer Belford Roxo |
