1640: uma revolução prevenida. Conflito político e ideias jurídicas na restauração de Portugal (1634-1641)

Abstract

This work purposes to offer a historiographical alternative to the lasts studies on Restauration of Portugal. At the first capitle we analyse the social-political conditions that could formed the moviment of breaking the Iberical Union. At second, we show some lines of juridical ideas that could move the restoration conspiracies to the politc act. Such thought lines shows their presence in principal juridical fights that followed the Restauration. On the third capitle we capted as exemple that can be the most important political fight of justification of Restauration of Portugal, isn't for have the master lines of juridical thought of the period, but for be the first and more significant of them. In the end of this dissertation, the lector will have the impression about saw it before and, in fact, we doesn't inovate in this. Although, the interpretation is open to future studies.
