O Novo Perfil Profissional do Gestor de Instituição Federal de Ensino Superior, Considerando o Impacto das Políticas Governamentais

Abstract

This work aims to address the institutional scenario of the federal public service in the Federal Institutions of Higher Education, relating to movements of government initiative, promoted to the change its management model. Based on a case study, the scenario is analyzed along a management where the events of intervention of the management information system are highlighted. Considering that the ambient of this case study, besides belonging to the scope of the federal government management, is inserted in the education area, where also analyzed the impacts of government policies of institutional evaluation, given its strategic importance to the institutional management. The conclusion of the study aims to provide a contribution in terms of a better understanding of the scenario and its influence on the design of a new profile manager of federal public institution before the advances of information technology and the implications of institutional evaluation.
