| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O negacionismo consiste em um “movimento” que busca negar a ocorrência de morte de judeus durante a Segunda Guerra e assim trazer uma nova imagem do que representou a política nazista. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo estudar o caso do negacionista espanhol Pedro Varela, observando sua função propagandística e de que forma se apropria do conceito de liberdade de expressão para se afirmar publicamente e difundir teorias afinadas a politica nazista. Para tanto, analisamos as manifestações de Varela enquanto participante de extrema-direita, a frente de sua Livraria Europa e suas cartas confeccionadas enquanto esteve preso por crime de incitação ao ódio racial. |
| Abstract: | The denial consists of a "movement" that seeks to deny the occurrence of the death of Jews during World War II and thus bring a new image that represented the Nazi politics. The present work aims to study the case of the Spanish revisionist Pedro Varela, watching their propagandistic and how his function appropriates the concept of freedom of expression to state publicly and disseminate theories tuned Nazi politics. To this end, we analyzed the expression of Varela while participating in extreme right, the front of his bookstore Europe and made his letters while incarcerated for the crime of incitement to racial hatred |
