A Licenciatura em Ciências Agrícolas na Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco: a formação de professores e o letramento científico na concepção dos seus estudantes e professores

Abstract

The teachers' training in the course of Degree course in Agricultural Sciences of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) is presented in this inquiry with the collaboration and conception of the teachers and students of the course investigated, through the application of questionnaires and interviews. This inquiry had like objectives knew the historical bases of the formation of agricultural education teachers in the UFRPE, besides knowing the conceptions of the actors wrapped regarding the teachers' formation and the process of scientific literacy and technologically in this formation. A dialog tried to establish between the authors and the actors of the inquiry, in order to expose the conceptions regarding the boarded subjects. It ends this inquiry when there is putting to arrangement of the formation of agricultural education teachers one more methodology that could collaborate with the formation of critical citizens able to contribute with the improvement of his society.
