| Abstract: | The research presents seeks to understand the relationship between some Nova Iguaçu residents’ have with their city, having as guiding elements the interpretations of these in relation to the media representations; the spaces and forms of leisure that exist in this locality and the area of the imaginary about what could be this city. From the reflections on these aspects I will try to understand if the relation of the residents with their city is or not changed from the knowledge and the participation in diverse spaces of leisure |
