| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | Esse trabalho tem como objetivo central analisar a construção do intelectual em Memórias do Subdesenvolvimento (1968), de Tomás Gutiérrez Alea. A partir dessa perspectiva, estabelecemos como as transformações da Revolução Cubana, principalmente no meio cultural, apontaram qual seria o papel do intelectual e de uma arte revolucionária. Os embates entre o governo cubano e os intelectuais, realçados pelos momentos políticos e históricos da ilha, evidenciaram a crise de identidade e o autoexílio personificados na figura da personagem central. |
| Abstract: | This work has as main objective to analyze a construction of the intellectual in Memórias do Subdesenvolvimento (1968), by Tomás Gutiérrez Alea. From this perspective, we established how the transformations of the Cuban Revolution, especially in the cultural environment, pointed out what would be the role of the intellectual and of a revolutionary art. The confront between the Cuban government and the intellectuals, highlighted by the political and historical moments of the island, shows the identity crisis and self-exile personified in the figure of the central character. |
