As representações sociais das lutas para alunos do segundo segmento da rede pública de ensino de Angra dos Reis - RJ

Abstract

The Social Representations are the phenomenon that guides most of the relationships we have with the world around us. They familiarize us with the world, mediating our relationships and the conceptual construction of our reality. In the field of education, social representations are important elements in the praxis of teaching and learning, and should be carefully observed by the teacher in the adequacy of the formal content in their teaching planning. The fights form an important block of content within the school physical education, being highlighted as an element of the corporal culture of the movement. Despite this, this content is commonly neglected by area teachers, depriving students of relevant content. Thus, the present study aims to identify the social representations that physical education students, from the second elementary school segment, from the public network of the city of Angra dos Reis - RJ, have on the fights. The sample consisted of 219 individuals (110 males and 109 females) collected in the eighth and ninth grade classes in five (4) schools out of a total of forty-six (46) students of this school band in the urban area of Angra dos Reis. The results show that RS of the fights is related to aggression and violence in all groups, regardless of gender or experience with the modality.
